I decided to take this course both as a retirement project and because I wanted to take a degree in photography when I left school in the 1970s. In those days photography was not considered worthy of a degree, so instead I decided to take a different direction and obtain a degree in science.

In level three I wish to improve my creativity and produce images which are not just pretty pictures, but one’s like those of photographers I admire, those which tell a story.

In this module I intend to complete my studies on perception and create a major work consisting of images of the Fens, the man-made landscape near to my home. My particular interests are in alternative forms of photography, Infrared photography, drone photography, three-dimensional photography and photogrammetry.
