Red Dot day! Today I sold one of my pictures. A lady came in, looked around the gallery and came up to me and said “I would like to buy one of your pictures”. The picture she chose was “Windswept”, the picture of a tree bent by the westerly wind which blows across the Fens.

She decided not to take the picture with her, so I gave her receipt and marked the picture with a red dot to indicate that it had been sold. I don’t know when she is returning to pick up the picture, but I will pass the information on to the person who is invigilating the exhibition tomorrow.

I also sold a picture by another artist plus a couple of my greetings cards, taking over £100 in total.

In the slack period I also re-recorded the piece to camera that I attempted yesterday.
