Found that Iwas the first person at the Custom House today so opened up the exhibition myself. The invigilator arrived a little late but I was already open.
I had one interesting visitor today, the Chairman of the Norwich Camera Club. He spoke to me about his attempts at infrared and pinhole photography and made some recommendation which I may follow up. He wondered whether I would be willing to give a talk on the subject but I left the option open as I am not a good speaker.
When the second invigilator arrived to take over from the morning person she said that she had to leave early and would I mind closing up the gallery. I said that I had a few things to do this afternoon but I would be back before she leaves. I returned at about 3 o’clock and allowed her to go. I closed up the Custom House having had forty-five visitors that day.
